
Eleven University of Kabianga staff, including 9 Dons and 2 ICT officers were among the 164 participants drawn from 29 Kenyan-public universities, who graduated in the Skill for Prosperity Kenya (S4PKe) Programme on Digital Education for Higher Education, in a glorious event held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Nairobi, on 24 January 2023.
The S4PKe is a Ministry of Education programme funded by Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO), and supported by a consortium of other organisations including Leonard Chesire, UKaid, International Labour Organisation(ILO) and The Open University UK.
The Programme provided broad training to strengthen strategies and develop skills and capabilities for delivering quality digital (online and blended) university education. UoK was represented in the event by Dr. David Ngatia, the S4PKe UoK team coordinator. Others members of the team includes Dr. Ronald Rop, Dr. Reuben Langat, Dr. Benedicta Tabot, Dr. Florence Kamonjo, Mr. Noah Kibet, Dr. H. W. Sang, Dr. Joy Wabuke, Dr. Janet Surum, Mr Amos Wanyoike and Ms Sharifa Mambo.
