
The University of Kabianga has officially welcomed its 2023/24 academic year first year students. The new students reported in the university since 21st September 2023 and have been admitted into the five UoK Schools.
Flanked by the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor - Administration and Finance, Prof. Isaac Naibei, Acting Deputy Vice- Chancellor - Academic and Student Affairs; Prof. Paul Onsare, members of Senate and Management Board, the Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Maurice Odour addressed First Year students of 2023 at University Pavilion Square.
"Your stay at Kabianga is very short and hence we advise that you use your time well. I urge you to use your time to engage in meaningful scholarly work, join student groups from where you will interact with each other. We have student leadership positions from where you can sharpen your leadership skills" Prof. Odour told the attentive students.
He further counselled them that the University has put in place all that is needed for conducive learning environment, they too should reciprocate by making appropriate choices as they take their academic journey at the University very serious.
It was also a delightful moment that the Acting Vice-Chancellor shared photo taking with the students; as other staff did too.
