On Sunday 22nd October, 2023, University of Kabianga was set active with Royal Media's Citizen Television which aired live from the University Grounds its popular Sunday programs of Rauka and Bambika.

Rauka began at 6.15 to 9.00am with Citizen TV Host Mrs. Joyce Omondi Wahinga ushering in the University Chaplain; Rev. Samson Abong to preach and do prayers. The Scripture based on James 1:12 gave an encouragement to remain steadfast before God even in the midst of trials and temptations.

Bambika came at 11.00 to 12.50pm. But before that, University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Eric Koech was interviewed by Citizen's TV's Mrs. Joyce Omondi Wahinga.

It was a moment of great fun and excitement for the students to have Timeless and DJ GG for Talent and other Gospel shows.
