Friday 9th October 2020, the UNES bookshop Manager Mr. Fred Adero and two of his colleagues from the University of Nairobi visited the University (UoK) for a Courtesy Call to the office of the Vice Chancellor. The following key issues were discussed: 

➢ UoK Benchmarking with them

➢Encouraged UNES to tender for books when advertised

➢Partnerships in consultancy

➢Checkoff system MOU for staff laptops and smart phones.

The team also toured the library and were impressed by the magnificent 8 storey library building whose super structure is at advanced stage of completion. They also toured the library ICT infrastructure such as how (KOHA) library Management System has made services effective and efficient to our clients. They lauded our well-equipped library with current editions, Off campus access to e-resources facilitated by use of RemoteXs software and many other key services that the library is offering.

They conveyed their well wishes to the VC Prof. Wilson Kipngeno for great strides that the University has made in maintaining quality.
