fbpx International Week of Tropical Agriculture | University of Kabianga | Innovation and Excellence

University of Kabianga, represented by Prof. Joash Kibett (Director,Board of Graduate Studies) will join the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and other stakeholders in marking the International Tropical Agriculture Week (AgriTrop), from 22 to 26 March 2021.

The five days event will consists of exhibition and debates with experts from various counties on topics such as  development of new tropical agriculture, the challenge of transforming food systems, convergence of agricultural and environmental agendas, institution challenge innovation and the future of world food.

In addition to discussing tropical agriculture in depth, the event will gather subsidies for the United Nations World Summit on food system which will take place in late September, and will also pay tribute to Alysson Paolinelli, one of the mentors of the late agricultural revolution in Brazil, nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The sessions will be open to everyone but those who signed up in advance and register presence in at  least three days of the event will receive certificates of participation.
