Division of Academics and Student Affairs
The University Academic Division is charged with the responsibility of coordination and implementation of teaching, learning activities, Management of Library services and Student Affairs.
Other functions of Academic Division include; Providing leadership, guidance and direction to the departments within the Division; providing direction, organization and administration of learning programmes in the division; Coordinate teaching and provision the necessary support needed by the all-academic programmes offered by the University among others.
UoK has developed over ninety (90) academic programmes including short courses, offered across various schools and campuses which are accredited by the Commission of University Education (CUE). In addition, the University has endeavored to meet requirements from other regulatory bodies such as Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) for Nursing programmes, Clinical Officers Council (COC) for Clinical Medicine programmes, Public Health Officers and Technicians Council (PHOTC) for Public Health programmes.
