Strengthening Partnership for Sustainable Student Financing

On Tuesday May 5th, 2026, the University of Kabianga Management team held a consultative meeting with the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) at the HELB Headquarters, Anniversary Towers, Nairobi.

​The delegation led by the University Council Chairman Prof. Bosire Mwebi and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Eric Koech (PhD; MBS), engaged in discussions with the HELB CEO Mr. Geoffrey Monari and Acting Director of Finance Ms. Kerin Lidoroh. In attendance, were staff from both institutions who participated in deliberations to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.

​This engagement aimed at strengthening the stakeholder relationship between the two institutions marking a vital step towards ensuring students have a consistent and sustainable financial support they need to achieve their academic dreams.
