The Directorate of Corporate Affairs works closely with other Directorates, Schools, Departments, Sections and other stakeholders to promote the corporate image of the University.
The value of UoK’s image as a learning institution entails building a strong corporate identity and reputation that will open more business opportunities.
The Directorate is determined to build a remarkable institutional brand which is beyond reproach as it delivers on the University niche.
To accomplish the mandate effectively and efficiently, the Directorate is comprised of the following sections:
1.  Public Relations
This plays the role of liason of the University and its’ stakeholders with the view to enhancing the institutional corporate image
2.  Marketing
This plays the role of disseminating information to the general public about the academic programs with the view to increasing student enrolment
The Directorate is charged with the following responsibilities;
1.  To provide leadership in strategic communications
2.  To provide leadership and support to the University’s corporate functions/events
3.  To enhance the image/brand of the University
4.  To promote and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders
5.  To facilitate protocol services
6.  To give advice on public policy and other administrative matters
7.  To maintain good public relations within and outside the University
