Location

Main Campus

University of Kabianga is located in Kabianga Division in Kericho West District. The University is situated in the Kabianga Complex, comprising of the then Kabianga Farmers Training Center, Kabianga High School and Primary School and the Kipsigis County Council Tea Farm.

Town Campus

University of Kabianga,Kericho Town Campus is situated in Kericho Town, along Temple Road, between Huduma Centre and KEWASCO.

Kapkatet Campus

The Kapatet campus is located in Kapkatet town along the Kericho Kisii highway

Sotik Campus

The Sotik campus is located in Sotik town along the Kericho Kisii highway

There are fifteen (15) academic departments offering a wide range of programmes at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. All of them are open to both Government-sponsored and self-sponsored students.

About UoK

University of Kabianga is a public Chartered Institution of higher learning committed to providing high quality training, research and extension services. University of Kabianga has a long history, the Government School, Kabianga was started in 1925. Kabianga Teachers’ Training College existed between 1929 and 1963, when the College was moved to the present Kericho Teachers Training College.After the relocation ,Kabianga Farmers Training Center was established in 1959 at the premises.Its objective was to serve as an Agricultural Training facility for farmers from the South Rift and beyond.Kabianga Farmers Training Center became Kabianga Campus of Moi University in may 2007. In May, 2009, the University Campus was elevated to Kabianga University College

On 1st March 2013 University of Kabianga was awarded a Charter by His Excellency the third President of the Republic of Kenya, Hon. Mwai Kibaki.
