It started with 4 students and enrollment has been growing. The highest number of 805 students was witnessed in 2016/2017.
Majority of students are teachers who are employees of TSC and blended learning allows them to attend physical learning during school holidays. These students come from different counties and from varied walks of life in Kenya.
The Part Time Programme students are served by three schools which include School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences, School of Science and Technology as well as School of Business and Economics. Currently Part Time Programme offers Diploma in Education (Early Childhood and Primary Education, Arts and Science), Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary Education, Arts and Science) and Masters in Early Childhood and Primary Education. Intake takes place in Main Campus in April, August and December every year. Students are allowed to change their mode of study to either Full Time or Part Time after completing a full year.
Subsequently, I urge eligible candidates to join this programme which take approximately 4 years to complete.
