The Counsellors and Psychologists Board Visit to UoK

The Counsellors and Psychologists Board under the Ministry of Health, paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kabianga Prof. Eric Koech(PhD;MBS) on Wednesday 18th, 2026.The stakeholder consultative meeting focused on the Board’s critical mandate of indexing students pursuing Counseling Psychology to ensure professional excellence and compliance.

​The visiting team, led by Mr. David Mahinda and Mr. Victor Osoo included delegates Mr.Enock Thayu, Ms.Maryann Rop and Mr.Gabriel Kauru.

​The delegation was received by the Vice-Chancellor flanked by Dr. Cecilia Sang (Registrar Academics) and Dr. Janet Surum (HoD Psychology and Foundations).

​This partnership underscores the commitment to producing industry-ready graduates who meet the highest national standards of practice.
