National Bank of Kenya visit to University of Kabianga

On Wednesday April 29th, 2026, the University of Kabianga (UoK) hosted a courtesy visit from the National Bank of Kenya (NBK). The University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Eric Koech (PhD; MBS) welcomed the delegation flanked by CPA Erick Ngeny, the Acting Finance Officer. The visit reaffirmed the strong partnership between the two institutions aimed at fostering institutional development and improving the well-being of both staff and students.

During the visit, the bank expressed its commitment to deepening collaboration with the University, particularly in areas that enhance staff and student welfare. The meeting also highlighted the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which the partnership has continued to flourish with both parties exploring additional opportunities for mutual growth and support.

The Team from National Bank included Ms. Mercy Onyamasi, the Relationship Manager (Nairobi Head Office), Mr. George Odhiambo Ogwari, the Western Regional Sales Manager (Kisumu) and Ms. Mercy Chepkorir, the Team Leader for the South Rift Region (Kericho branch) and a University of Kabianga alumnus.
