UoK Strengthens Collaboration with Belgut Security Committee

On Friday 26th June, 2026, University of Kabianga hosted a security meeting with the Belgut Sub-County Security Committee to deliberate on matters affecting the safety and security of the University community and its surroundings. The University of Kabianga team was led by Prof. Maurice Oduor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Planning & Development), while the Belgut Sub-County team was led by the Deputy County Commissioner Ms. Francisca Khakai.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both the University and the Government to continued collaboration in fostering a secure and conducive environment for learning, research and innovation.
