University of Kabianga Launches New Student Housing Project

Monday, September 7th, 2026, marked a significant milestone for University of Kabianga as the site for construction of new, affordable student hostels was officially handed over.

A major highlight of the project is a modern 15-storey residential complex with 880 furnished units. The new facility will expand the University’s on-campus accommodation capacity, giving more students the opportunity to live in safe, comfortable and affordable surroundings.

Quality and affordable student housing is an important part of creating a supportive learning environment. By improving access to accommodation on campus, this development will contribute to the general wellbeing of students and enhance their ability to focus on their academics.

The project will also contribute to the local economy through employment opportunities and increased economic activity in and around Kabianga during and beyond the construction period.
