UoK's 12th Graduation Ceremony

University's 12th graduation ceremony was held on Friday 15th November, 2024. Dr. Carol Hunja - Secretary Higher Education and Research graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

A total of 1,546 graduands which comprised 14 PhD; 24 Masters; 1,465 Undergraduate and 43 Diploma were conferred and awarded degrees and diplomas in various academic disciplines by the Acting Chancellor Prof. Bosire Monari Mwebi. 

Present during this auspicious occasion were the Majority Leader and Senator for Kericho County Hon. Aaron Cheruiyot, Member of Parliament for Belgut Constituency Hon. Nelson Koech, University's Council, Senate, Management, staff, students,  parents who thronged in large numbers, Vice-Chancellors, Principals and representatives from various institutions.  

It was indeed a successful ceremony.

Towards greening the environment and increasing forest cover in every University's function, the Chief Guest planted a tree as it were to other dignitaries.
